Painted cylinders come in a variety of colors and involve a two-step process. First, the color is applied using a spray-on powder coating. Then, the cylinders are baked at a specific temperature to give them a premium, high-gloss finish.

All tanks are Visually Inspected (VIP'd) and for safety reasons would be shipped without air. These tanks are Nitrox-Ready to 40%. Most colors are in stock. If not in stock, the lead time is about 2 weeks.

Tanks will be Worthington, Luxfer, Metal Impact, Thunderbird or Catalina brand.

I purchased yellow and blue tanks. The colors are vivid and look great with the rest of the gear. The pain will scrape if you grind up against a rock or something so be aware. The AL63 tanks are a great balance between weight and amount of air and I use them the most for the routine mooring anchor and deck work I need to do. I also purchased a AL100 tank but only use it for jobs where I need to stay under as long as possible without resurfacing. The issue with the AL100 is that its so heavy its a pain if you need to walk around with it much. I got the Pro valves and use them with yoke regulators - no issues; they look great.
